Click "Save File" and choose your computer's desktop as the save location. Click "OK. Power on your Nook Color and press the "Nook" button. Tap "Settings" and select "Device Info. Check the device's battery level.

I chose to view the Nook hard drive and found the zip file there. I finger tapped that file a couple of times until the file loaded and then lowered the Nook down to my desk and did NOT disturbe it while it installed the new system.
