While I appreciate the depth of your article I could have written it myself, but it would have been better ;- I have to disagree on your why buy an Epi vs. They are not Gibsons, though. The Gibson fit and finish will be vastly superior. The wood in the Gibson is much better, making the Gibson feel and sound more substantial. That said, most decent guitar players play Gibson, not Epiphone.
